Caring for Handmade Earrings

Every Woven Treasures listing is for one handmade pair, and the photographed pair is the pair its buyer receives. Gentle handling helps preserve the fibres, painted surfaces and shape that make each piece distinct.

Always follow the care wording on the individual product page. It comes from the current Shopify product record and takes priority over general advice.

Keep each pair dry

Remove earrings before showering, swimming or entering heavy rain. Water can change natural fibres and may affect painted components or findings.

Put earrings on after perfume, hair products, sunscreen and lotions have dried so less product transfers onto the piece.

Handle and store them gently

Lift the pair by a firm component rather than pulling on loose fibre ends. Store earrings separately in a dry place so hooks do not catch on weaving, fringe or other jewellery.

If a woven piece becomes pressed during storage, do not force it back into shape. Ask Julie for pair-specific guidance before applying heat, water or cleaning products.

Dimensions, pair weight, finding material and ear-suitability guidance are shown only when Julie has confirmed them in Shopify. If a listing says a detail is not yet confirmed and that detail matters for fit, sensitivity or gifting, email before ordering.
